Your gift to The Harding Annual Fund is a powerful statement about your committment to our school. Harding focuses on participation most of all. Annual gifts from you and other donors allow Harding to continue to provide a learning environment that is both challenging AND nurturing.Our Pre-K through eighth grade model produces students who have a deeper understanding of material, the self-assuredness to conquer any challenge, and the ability to think critically and independently for a lifetime.
The Annual Fund supports students, faculty and staff through Harding’s operating budget. Your gift, no matter the size, is an investment in our mission and our vision.

Your Annual Fund gift, and those from donors like you, has an immediate and tangible impact on the daily lives of Harding students and faculty.
Every family and community member is encouraged to give as their means allow and participate in this wonderful tradition of philanthropy. Your gift benefits Harding in many ways, including:

- Student support and financial aid

The Harding Annual Fund is:
- Your annual investment in Harding - your first and most important gift to Harding
- Critical support of daily operations - operating expenses are not covered by tuition alone
- Covers the tuition gap (about $1,000) – keeps us more affordable to more families
Why give to the Harding Annual Fund?
- Show you believe in our mission and are dedicated to educating children
- Help the school meet educational goals, hire talented faculty and staff, maintain innovative technology
- Procure state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, support academics, arts, athletics, library, music rooms, special programs, and more
- Every gift is important. Average gift is $1,100 (some give more, others less)
What is the Harding Annual Fund goal?
- 100% participation in 100 days (during the fall semester)
- Monetary goal it’s $480,000, but we focus on participation most of all
- We hope you will participate as your means allow
Why not just raise tuition?
- It allows for a tax deductible gift - and a tax break for your family.
- The entire Harding community can support our school at a level where they feel comfortable
How does it differ from the endowment?
- Annual fund is day-to-day operations and is an intentional strategy to minimize your family's tax burden
- Endowment is held in perpetuity and invested
- Both need to grow
