Parents and Athletes:
Please find information below for the Late Fall Athletic Season at Harding Academy. Questions on any aspects of the programs should be directed to the Head Coach of each sport. Also, please make every effort to be in attendance at the parent meetings as important information along with season expectations will be addressed by the coaches. All Late Fall Sports options are for grades 6-8 only.
Girls Soccer
Soccer season is just around the corner! Practice will alternate weekly between Kever Park and Sohr Family Track and Field and will begin on Monday, October 3 for those not involved in the school play. Those involved in the play production will begin practice on Monday, Oct. 10. Monday, Oct. 10 and Tuesday, Oct. 11 will be our tryout days. Harding will field both a varsity and JV soccer team. Wherever practice occurs, students will be back at school between 5:05 - 5:10 PM to be picked up at the depot. Practice attire includes: shirt and shorts per HA standards, full socks, shin guards, soccer cleats, and sweats and/or rain gear as weather dictates.

Boys Soccer
Welcome to the 2022 Harding Academy Boys Soccer season! Harding Academy will field both a varsity and JV boys soccer team and there is no prior soccer experience required to play.

Developmental Swimming (Late Fall)
The late fall swim team is open to middle school students, with fewer than 2 years of competitive swimming experience. The late fall season is designed to be focused on exposure to the competitive sport and instruction of stroke technique. The winter season is wholly focused on competition. Workouts will begin the week of October 3. Our daily practices will consist of some dryland workouts and in-water work. Practices will take place Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, from 3:15pm to 4:00pm. Students will take the bus to the Ensworth Natatorium, and will be back at Harding by approximately 4:15pm.

Wrestling
The wrestling season will get underway officially on Monday, October 3. Practice will be from 3:30-5:00 PM daily. Wrestlers are responsible for providing their own wrestling shoes, headgear, knee pads, etc. Practice attire will include shorts and t-shirts and headgear will be worn at all times during practice. No experience required.
