2015 Faculty Recipients of Enrichment Development Grant Announced
In October of this year Harding Academy announced that current parents Bobby ’81 and Melissa Frist made a $500,000 gift to Harding Academy to be used in support of faculty enrichment and professional development. These funds are to be used for a summer program of interest for faculty members who apply, and are chosen, to participate.
In this inaugural year five teachers have received grants.

Physical Education teacher and coach Carol Macpherson Caldwell will be traveling to Brazil for the 2016 Olympic Games

Science teacher Ken Folger will attend the Learning & The Brain Summer Institute

Fifth grade teacher Sara Neuss will travel to Germany for a historic World War II tour

Science teacher/physical education teacher Melissa Ferri will travel to a week-long camp at the Space Academy for Educators in Huntsville, Alabama.

Social studies teacher Peggy Bidez will engage in a historical tour of Boston and the surrounding historical sites
