Lizzie Rohricht '13 in Art Competition

Katherine Miller
Lizzie Rohricht '13 writes to middle school art teacher Mrs. Ryan: I have some exciting news! Over the last few weeks in my art class, we have been working on a project for Catholic Charities in Nashville. They are an organization that works to help the homeless, and every year, they participate in an art competition that is headed by the Catholic Campaign for Human Development. High school students from all over Tennessee compete with their artwork, which depicts some way of how homelessness can be fought or subdued. I worked with a group of two other people on this piece, which is an animation film. I put it together with iMovie, so I felt the need to tell you about this project, as you taught me how to work with iMovie and how to create a slow motion film! So, thank you, because we came in first place in the region!! Our piece will move to the national level to be judged in Washington D.C. I would love for you to watch our film, and you can find it at this link: http://youtu.be/0Mqf276gUS4

This is exciting news, and keep us posted Lizzie!
