Varsity Girls Basketball Clinch Regular Season Title with 11th Conference Win
The Varsity Girls Basketball team defeated visiting Nashville Christian School 40-9 to finish 11-1 in conference play and clinch the outright regular season title.
The Generals' tenacious defense held the visitors to 2, 2 and 0 points in the first three quarters, respectively, while the offense converted multiple turnovers into a 36-4 lead at the end of the third. Scoring was balanced among seven different players, who scored 3 points or more, led by Lowery Nickels with 10 points, Zara Bracegirdle with 9, and MiMi Bond and Maggie Cannata with 5 apiece.
