The Lady Hawks Battle Valor & Freezing Temps.

Only a few brave souls were out to cheer on the girls as we bundled up and battled on. Valor was a worthy opponent, keeping the match close. They struck first, but the Hawks did not let that impact their intensity and momentum. Solid leadership and a high energy sideline kept the girls fired up. A game changing goal by Caroline Ball evened up the score at 1-1 in the second half. Despite not being able to feel their fingers and toes, the Lady Hawks were creating opportunities, finding through balls, and shutting down the Valor offensive. We saw invaluable minutes from Georgia Husbands on the back line & Nina Armstrong made several incredible saves in goal to keep the match tied at 1-1 until the final whistle.
