Generals Stay Unbeaten in HVAC with a Victory over MBA
The Harding Generals varsity wrestling team erupted with 6 pins against traditional HVAC power MBA to defeat the Big Red 48-41 for only the second time in recent history. The Generals were focused and confident heading into the match and their performance matched their expectations. Even though Harding gave up one more forfeit than MBA, the Generals were able to overcome the deficit with solid, aggressive wrestling. The team moved to 3-0 on the season!
Earning pins for Harding were Alex Ray '17, Daniel McGuire '17, Will Higgins '16, Garrett Schultz '15, Seve Ortale '15, and Zachary Nelson '15. All six wrestlers improved to 3-0 on the season with three HVAC matches remaining. Also earning wins by forfeit were Hutch Morel '17 and Drew Lancaster '17.
Harding returns to action next Tuesday, Nov. 4 when it comes back home to host BGA in another key HVAC match. Action begins at 4:30pm.
