Generals Varsity Wrestling Moves to 2-0
The Harding Generals varsity wrestling team had another great outing against FRA this week to move to 2-0 on the season in the Harpeth Valley Athletic Conference. The Generals benefitted from five forfeits and victories from six of seven varsity wrestlers to defeat the Panthers, 63-18.
Earning victories for the Generals in the varsity match were Cooper Craig '16, Will Higgins '16, Garrett Schultz '15, Seve Ortale '15, Zach Nelson '15, and Scottie Koehner '15. Varsity starter Daniel McGuire '16 also earned a victory in an exhibition match. Accepting forfeits for Harding were Drew Lancaster '17, Alex Ray '16, Daniel McGuire '16, Will Morrison '17, and Will Wheeler '16.
