Varsity Girls Basketball Deliver Big Win for Spirited Supporters
Playing in front of a packed house of spirited supporters, the Varsity Girls Basketball team claimed a convincing win over Clarksville Academy 34-8.
The Generals sprinted out to a 10-0 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back, much to the delight of a raucous crowd for the Spirit Game. Displaying smothering defense at one end, the girls also found quality shots time and again with outstanding ball movement at the offensive end. Seven different Generals scored, led by Abby Andrews with 12 points, Maggie Cannata with 8 and Zara Bracegirdle with 6.
