Varsity Girls Basketball Loses a Tough Game to GCA 34-33

The varsity girls basketball team welcomed Grace Christian Academy to the Harding campus this past Thursday. It was a hard fought game that ended in a one point loss. The girls responded in the fourth quarter with great defense and passing, but fell short in the end. Jamie Gaddie Embry led the Hawks in scoring with 12 points and 3 rebounds. Grace Thigpen had a solid game with 6 points and 7 rebounds. Blythe Potter came off the bench to hit two huge three pointers to finish with 6 points. Kate Fulgham had 5 points and Charlotte Thigpen was all over the boards to finish with 7 rebounds. The girls will host St. Cecilia next Tuesday, January 20 at 5:30. Come out and support the Hawks!
