Harding Academy JV Shows Heart in Challenging Matchup Against Harpeth Hall

The Harding Academy JV girls lacrosse team faced a tough opponent in Harpeth Hall, falling 4-15, but the score didn’t tell the whole story. The Hawks showed heart, hustle, and grit from start to finish, continuing to grow and develop as a team.
JG Embry led the offensive charge with a hat trick, scoring three of the team’s four goals. EG Moats added another goal, rounding out the scoring and keeping the Hawks in the fight.
In the midfield, draw control efforts were shared with Jojo Perkinson, EG Moats, and JG Embry each securing one, and Sara Disher picking up a crucial control off a foul, helping Harding battle for possession throughout the game.
Defensively, Fielding had a standout performance in goal with 11 impressive saves, keeping the Hawks in the game and showing great resilience under pressure.
Despite the final score, the team showed real progress and a never-quit attitude, laying the groundwork for future success. The effort and energy were there — and that’s what counts.
