Harding Academy believes that children learn from one another and that such learning is enhanced when it includes peers with diverse backgrounds and experiences. PreK–8 are the most formative years, providing your child’s academic and moral foundation. Harding Academy’s model provides crucial stability with a keen focus on the academic, social, and developmental needs of students ages four to fourteen.

At Harding, children are at the heart of everything we do. Whether your child is in the classroom, on the stage, in a studio, or on the field, they will be seen, known, heard, and loved throughout their entire 10-year journey with us. The PreK–8 years are among the most formative in a child’s life—academically, socially, and emotionally. These years lay the foundation for a lifelong love of learning and nurture the curiosity and wonder that will serve them well into adulthood.
Our PreK–8 model provides the stability children need, pairing academic rigor with intentional social-emotional growth—all within a caring and kind community. By the time they graduate, our students have developed a deep sense of self and a strong commitment to their larger community.
Our admissions process is designed to get to know each child and family beyond what can be captured on paper. We are committed to helping every prospective family experience the spirit of Harding Academy—beyond the walls of our school building—and to ensure you feel welcomed and supported each step of the way.
