There are 5 total races in September-November. All are on a Sunday with a pre-ride on Saturday. The 2018 TICL Race Schedule is:

10/21 - Gallatin, TN
11/4 - Sewanee, TN

Race schedule is subject to change.

Training Schedule
We begin team practices the week of August 6th. Practices are twice per week on two of the following days: T/Th/F/Sat/Sun. The schedule will soon be determined. Most practices will be at the Percy Warner Park mountain bike trails, 1300 Forrest Park Drive. Beginners are welcome. We will schedule a few family fun rides this summer.

Equipment and Gear
What the athletes will need:
-cross country mountain bike with knobby tires and front suspension
-helmet
-sunglasses
-full finger gloves
-comfortable riding shorts or tights

Most bike shops around town are NICA supporters and offer great deals and service. The three shops I recommend in the Belle Meade/West Meade/Bellevue neighborhoods are Gran Fondo Cycles, Trail & Fitness and Trace Bikes. Tell them Coach Cribb sent you.

Fees
Team jersey, team league registration and coaching costs are covered by Harding. Parents are responsible for equipment fees and volunteer registration fees. Parent ride leader volunteers are welcome and encouraged to participate. Athlete and parent registration is due by the 2nd week of practices.
