Generals Move to 2-0!

Gene Flathmann
The varsity boys lacrosse team won a hard-fought 5-3 game on a very cold afternoon against a small but talented J.T. Moore team . The boys started out fast and aggressive getting off to a 2-0 first period lead. We lost some of our aggressiveness in the second quarter and J.T. Moore took advantage tying the score at the half. Harding got back on track in the third quarter winning the ground ball game and taking a 3-2 lead into the fourth, capping off the game with two goals and giving up one for the 5-3 win.

The Generals had outstanding play from a strong defense led by William Stanley, Mark Ryan Henderson, Warren Coleman and Ryan Proctor. Evan Cuffe played another great game on goal. Ground ball statistical leaders were James Johnson (6), Harrison Mabry & Max Baudenbacher (4), Warren Coleman, Ryan Proctor & Luke Haley (3). Luke Haley scored three goals with James Johnson & Max Baudenbacher each scoring one.

The Harding boys will be off for spring break and look to pick up where they left off upon our return the last week of March. Go Generals!!
