Generals Fall to Mt. Juliet Christian
The Varsity baseball team rallied late then struggled in the field and could not hold off Mt. Juliet Christian, losing 7-6 on Friday.
Coming off spring break, the Generals stuggled to find some offense early in the game. Heading into the fourth inning Will Morrison "17 pitched well and costly errors by Mt Juliet propelled them to a 5-1 lead.
The Crusaders then rallied in the bottom half of the 5th inning to take a 6-5 lead.
With two outs in the top of the 6th Morrison hit a clutch double that gave the Generals the lead.
The Gerals record falls to 1-2 on the season and 1-1 in conference play.
