Varsity Baseball Opens Conference Play with a Win
The varsity baseball Generals opened their Middle Tennessee Independent Baseball Leauge schedule with a 12-2 five inning win.
The Generals pounded out seven hits, with leftfielder Will Morrison '17, starting things off early with a double off the fence in the first inning. Morrison had two his and scored three runs. Aidan Call '17, and Reid Buschmann '17 had two hits apiece for Harding with Buschman getting a clutch two out, two RBI double in the first inning.
Will Wheeler '16, struck out five batters and picked up the win with three solid innings on the mound. Aidan Call pitched the final two innings for the Generals, striking out three of the seven batters he faced.
