Wilson Berry Takes First Place at Vaughn's Gap Meet

The middle school cross-country teams took to the course on Thursday, September 17 at Vaughn's Gap. This is a tough course with not a lot of shade. On the boy's side, Wilson Berry took off and never looked back. He destroyed the competition with an amazing time of 12:28. This was his first 1st place of the season. Josh Rohricht was able to continue to improve on his time. He was able to come in 18:19. This was a new PR for him by 44 seconds. Adam Wang was able to knock off 40 seconds from his previous best time. He finished the race in a time of 14:18. On the girl's side, Maria Carter ran an excellent race. She was able to finish in 4th place overall with a time of 14:08. Julia Townsend was able to round out the top 10 with a time of 14:50. Rosemary Frederikson, Catarina Carter, and Sasha Mason were able to set new PR's in the race. The girls finished in 2nd place overall as a team. Way to Go Generals!!
