JV Girls' Lacrosse Put On A Great Show Against Harpeth Hall
Great strides have been made over the course of the season for the JV Lacrosse Team! The first half of the game was well-fought, and we were only down by two points at half-time. Unfortunately, we were unable to keep the momentum going for the second half, and Harpeth Hall came out way on top. Solid effort was made on defense by Savannah Gauthier, Catarina Carter, Cooper Mae Cavallo, Katie-Rose Pacconi, Lydia Beechum and Caroline Frederiksen. They worked hard to try and keep Harpeth Hall's offense from shooting on goal. Ellie Hollihan and Cooper Mae Cavallo had six saves while in goal. In the midfield, Ellie Frist hussled and scored two goals, offensive players Ava Ryan and Caroline Stanley each had one. Other players who showed hussle were Lizza Hubbard, Annie Griffin, Mika Gothard and Isabel Long. Coach Pettus, Coach Waggoner and I were proud of how the girls played during the first half, and it is clear that so much has been learned over the course of our season. We look forward to showing how much we have improved when we compete against Grassland on Wednesday afternoon.
