Varsity Girls Basketball Improves to 4-0 in GNAC
The Varsity Girls Basketball team improved to 4-0 in GNAC play with a 28-15 win over Mt. Juliet Christian Academy.
Less than 24 hours after suffering their first loss of the season, the Generals bounced back with a victory over conference rival Mt. Juliet Christian Academy. Despite a significant size disadvantage, the Generals applied persistent pressure, stood strong inside at both ends and pounded the offensive boards for second chance opportunties. An all around team effort enabled the girls to outscore MJCA in each quarter, with 5 different players contributing 3 or more points. Lowery Nickels led the way with 9 points, and Zara Bracegirdle added 7.
