descriptions of programs and how to log in are explained below.
AR and Math Facts link—aka Renaissance Center—(Access on campus only:
http://ts.hardingacademy.org: This database contains the Links listed below and
Access is
Accelerated Math: Accelerated Math is a program for third through fifth graders
to practice their math skills.
AR: AR stands for Accelerated Reader. Fourth through eighth grades students
take their AR tests here on a book that they have read. Fourth and fifth
graders learn how to take tests for fun. Middle School students gain class
credit. All students, who have 100 points, earn a certificate at the end of
the year. The top three students receive gift cards.
Math Facts in a flash: Math Facts is a program for first through fifth graders to
practice their math skills. They answer 20 questions in two minutes.
Star Math: Another great math skills program for first through fourth graders to
practice their math skills.
*Homeroom teachers teach students how to use these programs.
Usernames:
• 1st-8th Grades: generally, the username is all in lowercase and is the last
name followed by the first initial of their first name. E.g. John Smith’s
username would be smithj. If there are duplicate user names (e.g. Jane
Smith, then a number is added to the username; so for Jane Smith, smithj1,
James Smith, smithj2 and so on. For grades 3-8, this username is the
same as used to login to computers on campus)

Passwords:
• 1st – 3rd grades: the password is all in lowercase and is their first initial of
their first name followed by their first initial of their last name. Eg. John
Smith’s password would be js (3rd graders new this year use their network
password)
• 4th-8th Grades: network password.
Atomic Learning (Access:
http://www.atomiclearning.com): Atomic Learning is a
wonderful web tool that lets you learn all about computer programs on PCs and
MACs. From Microsoft Word to Kidspiration and from I-movies to Powerpoint,
short tutorials teach tricks of the trade from introductions to advanced learners.

Bibliography Reference : Bibliography Reference is particularly helpful for Middle
School students. This website shows students how to correctly cite their
references for their Bibliography.

can learn more about their favorite subjects like Science, Social Studies, English,
Math, Arts and Music, Health, and Technology. From learning about graphing
linear equations in math to learning about famous women in social studies, short
movies staring Ben and Moby make learning fun!
