The Harding 6th grade boys basketball team took on Lipscomb Academy in a hard fought battle on the court Thursday night. The boys were coming into this game after a long week of playing multiple games. The game started out slow for Harding, falling behind in the first quarter, but fighting back hard in the second quarter with tough defense from Rex Waddey'27, Nash Donahue'27, and Henry Hardin'27 and scoring from Pike McDaniel'27 and Cole Gerber'27.
In the second half, Harding continued to fight back and bring down the deficit with amazing help from Cullen Weaver'27, Owen Sheets'27, Leland Kivett'27, Austin Snedeker'27, and Ethan Bannock’27 coming off the bench providing some great defense.
Late in the game Pike Mcdaniel’27 score multiple 3-pointers to decrease the lead to 12 but it was not enough to complete the comeback with Harding falling 25-37.
