Hawks Fall to MBA in Season's 2nd Game
The Young Hawks fell to Montgomery Bell Academy 11-0 on Wednesday afternoon ... despite some solid and timely defense by the Hawks. In the bottom of the first, Riley Bundren (2025) rocked a double off of the right-centerfield fence to get the offense going but was not able to score the Hawks' first run despite some solid swings behind him in the order. Solid defense was turned in by catcher Michael Holscher (2026), Joey Spallauto (2026), Avin Burditt (2025), and Walt Sanders (2024) to keep the game close until MBA was able to pull away in the 4th and 5th innings for the HVAC win. The Hawks Varsity return to action this coming Monday @ Harding's Highway 70 Stadium versus Pope Prep at 4:15 p.m. Come out and cheer on the Navy Blue!
