Varsity Girls Lacrosse Gets First Win
Harding girls lacrosse got their first win of the season on Monday night. The Hawks played FRA and finished the game victorious with a 9-7 win. There was 6 different goal scorers for Harding. Louisa Smith, Lauren Sullivan, and Mary McGuigan (a CPA addition) each scored two goals a piece. Alexa McKay scored her first goal of the season while Margaux Brown and Ruby Gunnels each added a goal to help the Hawks win. Despite the 6 different goal scorers, it was Harding's defensive effort that shined. Samantha Massad had 3 caused turnovers redefending on attack. Greer Bodzy and Margaret Greathouse held down the defensive end with multiple caused turnovers and ground balls each. Go Hawks!
