Generals Open Wrestling Season with a Win

The Harding Academy wrestlers opened the 2018 season with a 48-30 victory over Ensworth on Thursday, Oct. 18 in Roberts Gymnasium. Eli Heaney '19, Conor Corby '19, Nathaniel Nelson '19, and Huston Thrasher '19 all recorded pins for the Generals in their varsity matches. Winning by pin in exhibition matches were RJ Perkins '22, Seby Nelson, Michael Datillo '21, Bernardo Barbolat '21, Chase Franck '19, and Hudson Frazier '21. Finally, Will Glover '21, Hudson Frazier '21, Grant Gilmour '19 and Chase Franck '19 won by forfeit. Harding finished the evening 10-2 in the 12 matches wrestled.

The Harding wrestlers return to action next Tuesday when they host Franklin Road Academy in a home match at 4:30pm. The Generals then travel to MBA for a match on Thursday, Oct. 25 at 4:30pm. Go Generals!!
