Devin Kellett '11 Honored in the Freedom Essay Contest by Sertoma Club
The Sertoma Club of Nashville sponsored the Freedom Essay contest, and Devin Kellett '11 was one of four students honored at a banquet at the Millennnium Maxwell House Hotel for his esay, which he delivered as a speech. The essays addressed the topic: “Should the provisions of our founding documents, i.e., the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence, be applied to immigration in cases where the person has entered our country illegally? If so, how?” Devin received a $2,000.00 scholarship to be applied towards his college expenses.
