New York City Dance Alliance's Regional Convention
Harding Academy's School of Dance performance groups participated in New York City Dance Alliance's Regional Convention at Opryland on December 12-14 2014. The girls took workshop classes with renowned teachers and choroeographers Desmond Richardson, Joe Lanteri, Scott Jovovich, Suzi Taylor and many others.

Both performing groups participated in the competition portion of the conference. The younger group was awarded a gold award and took home the "Just Too Cute Award." Harding students were Aliyah Good, Rebecca Jane Gilliland, Bella McKay, Margaret Grobmyer, Abby James Witherspoon and Draper Witherspoon.
The older group was awarded a Platinum award, 2nd place teen high score, 1st place teen score in Contemporary, Outstanding execution, and was nominated for the Choice Award.
In her first solo competition Carly Henderson '12 was awarded a high gold. Claudia Rhett '12 was awarded a platinum award, Outstanding Execution, and received a full scholarship to attend the regional conference next year.
