From the Desk of the Head of School- February 17, 2023
Dear Harding Academy Learning Community,
This school week may have been short, but here on 170 Windsor Drive, the days were full.
- The eighth grade orange leadership team delivered donations from their McNeilly Center clothing drive that was held early this month. Thank you for always supporting our students in their leadership efforts.
- Eight Harding eighth grade student-athletes attended the HVAC Leadership Forum where they continued learning about leading in the classroom and with their teams.
- Tuesday's all-school assembly was filled with love as lower school students performed songs and the 2023 sixth grade diversity & inclusion student leader council was announced.
- Fourth grade students used their math and engineering skills for their STEAM project. They were tasked with building a sturdy perch for their plushie out of limited materials. It was great to see their minds working as they figured out how to use tape, construction paper, pipe cleaners and aluminum foil to build a safe perch.
- Practice for the all-school musical Mary Poppins continued. A link to purchase tickets will be in Compass Connection on Sunday.
I hope you all get some well deserved rest this long weekend and enjoy time with family and friends.
