Over the next few weeks, we will be highlighting the summer programs we will be offering this June and July. Check out the opportunities for the week of June 18 through June 22!
June 18-22
American Girl Doll Camp:
Each day a different American Girl doll will be featured. We will be reading, eating, crafting, dressing up and just having fun while we learn about what makes us all wonderfully different! I look forward to sharing my love and excitement with your girls and their dolls! Join Mrs. Clare Manning for a wonderful week of adventures.
Cube Camp:
Cube Camp is a one-week camp where kids will learn how to solve the Rubik's Cube! Throughout the week, we will learn the steps necessary to complete all six sides of the famous puzzle. At the end of the week, we will learn about the WCA (World Cube Association) and have mini Rubik's Cube contests! It is taught by Krishin Parikh, a rising 9th-grader. Everyone will be provided a speedcube, a lubricated cube that allows it to move faster, and can take it home at the end of the week! There will be a daily 30-minute snack time (snacks will be provided, but you are welcome to bring one).
Pokemon Camp:
Let’s talk Pokemon! We will start the day with a daily discussion about something Pokemon related and get everyone's opinion. Is Mewto the most powerful Pokemon of them all?
Join Mark Jones at the Pokemon Camp and take a journey through the Pokemon world as we get creative with some Pokemon fun, and maybe learn a thing or two about trade and some new Pokemon!
Come catch them all!
Rockets, Planes, Flying Things:
Watch it soar, see it glide, come take a ride with rockets, planes and flying things! We will build flying machines, test gliders and soar to the moon through art, stories and lots of play! Our adventures will sharpen your imagination, kick start your motor skills and ignite a passion for flying! Led by Ashley Jones.
Strength and Conditioning:
Participants will be learning and developing proper techniques for strength training, as well as building stamina, sports conditioning, general fitness, speed and agility, power and flexibility. Young athletes of ALL sports will benefit from this training camp. Both Sammy Cribb & Emma Cribb are Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialists with many years of experience coaching athletes of all ages, abilities and goals.
