Summer Programs June 11 through 15

Over the next few weeks, we will be highlighting the summer programs we will be offering this June and July.  Check out the opportunities for the week of June 11 through June 15!
JUNE 11-15 CAMPS

Around About Adventure
AAA Camp travels throughout the week on different fun adventures around town. Campers will head to Nashville Shores, Beech Bend Amusement Park, Mammoth Cave, bowling, Brentwood Skate Center, Sky High, and the Nashville Zoo! This camp is run by Jason Embry.

Boxfest
If you loved Roxaboxen, you will love Boxfest!  Join us for a week where you can transform a plain cardboard box into a castle, a submarine, and animal hospital...anything!  Come join us as you create and play in structures of your own design. This camp is lead by Harding teachers Anne Swift and Kim Usher.

Camp-a-palooza for Boys
Hang out with Harding alum Caleb Wilkinson and friends for a fun-filled week! Campers will play super-awesome outdoor games, get crafty with cool supplies, eat yummy snacks, create interesting science experiments, and enjoy much more.
Special activity - race remote-controlled cars on tracks set up by campers.
Special appearances by Mrs. Wilkinson each day!

Fast Feet Soccer Camp 2
Join us for a action packed week of soccer! I love the “beautiful game” and want to spend the week showing our students everything I know and love about the game!
Fun will be the name of the game, however we do aim to see improvement. The lessons will be designed to have mini daily achievement activities. One of the features of the camp would be to watch a short clip of a famous soccer legend at the start of every day. The day’s session would be based on some of the moves and plays the “legend” performed during the clip. This would strengthen the key training objectives for the day,and hopefully, encourage the students to mimic and possibly become supporters of these “legends”.
So join me, Mark Jones, at this summer’s Fast Feet Soccer Camp!

Lower School Girls Basketball
This camp is designed to teach the basic fundamentals of the game. We will provide the tools to become a better player and increase campers enthusiasm for the game. Special emphasis will be placed on proper shooting techniques and offensive play. All skill levels welcome. Join Coach Chris Holleman for this week of instruction.

Picture Bookworm
First, campers will discover the world of the Olympics with "Olympig!", then they will be WILD and explore their independence as we read “Mr. Tiger Goes Wild." Next, we will learn what happens in the life of a plant with Eric Carle's “The Tiny Seed.”  Join Coach Millikan for these activities and so much more!

VEX-IQ Robotics
Come learn robotics and basic computer programming. Learn how to program and control VEX-IQ robots to perform basic tasks.  The class will conclude with a final competition between the teams to complete a designed task.
The requirements are the following: students who are dedicated to attending every class and having fun while learning how robots think and move. Class space is limited to the first 12 students. Led by Jake Madden.
