Harding defeats Hendersonville at JP2

In Tuesday's away game against Hendersonville Lacrosse Club, all 19 ladies of Harding Academy's Varsity Lacrosse team made a great showing of athleticism, sportsmanship, and heart. We could mention every single athlete and a remarkable play or goal scored. Lily Wilmoth (6th) debuted as a starter, and controlled several ground balls before scoring her first goal as a Varsity lacrosse player. On defense, Abby Andrews (7th) made a remarkable showing, using her speed, communication, and skill to intercept passes and force Hendersonville turnovers. Kate Mabry and Lila Hunt both led in defense as well. In the midfield, Ellie Faber (8th) stepped up, calling plays and leading the team with  the most assists, in addition to her three goals. Georgie Haynes (7th) also completed a beautiful assist to Anna Perrone (7th), who scored 4 of the team goals. But the 8th grade girls led in shots fired: goals were scored by Mimi Bond (8th), Emma Farrington (8th), Lowery Nikels (8th), Aly Williams (8th).

Way to go Generals! Let's do it again!!
