Coach Gabrielli brings a wealth of talent to this camp. He is current
the defensive coordinator of the Duke Blue Devils and has been since
2007. In 2007, the Duke defense led the ACC and ranked eighth
nationally by allowing 7.65 goals per game. Four individuals earned
USILA All-America honors as longstick midfielder Nick O'Hara and
defenseman Casey Carroll were first team selections while goalkeeper
Dan Loftus and defenseman Tony McDevitt were third team picks.
Starting all 20 games in the Blue Devil net, Loftus led the ACC in
both goals against average (7.70) and save percentage (.614).
Gabrielli spent the 2006 season as an assistant coach at Butler where
he served as the recruiting coordinator while working primarily with
the defense. Under his mentorship, three Butler defensemen earned
All-GWLL honors.
Gabrielli was a member of the coaching staff at his alma mater,
Massachusetts, from 2003-05, helping the Minutemen to a 33-13 overall
record with two NCAA quarterfinal berths. Gabrielli was a member of
the practice squad for the Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse
during the 2004 season before being drafted again by the Cannons in
the 2005 Supplemental Draft. In 2004, he co-founded the Mid-Summer
Classic, a high school lacrosse tournament currently held on the UMass
campus.

Camp Details:
This is the premier teaching camp in Nashville as we teach existing
players to improve their stick skills and game IQ but also help newer
players get a better handle on the fundamentals.
We divide the kids into different skill/age levels to ensure a
positive learning environment.
We Cover:
1. All stick skills(left and right hand skills)
2. Offensive Skills: Dodging, Shooting, Moving w/o the ball.
3. Defensive Skills: Footwork, Holds, Checks, Body Position.
4. Goalie Skills: Arc, Positioning, Footwork, Communication.
Elite Division - The Elite Division is strictly geared towards older
high school players who want to or plan to play competitive college
lacrosse (DI, DII, DIII). We run through many college level
drills/scenarios. We also share keys to getting in game shape,
nutritional tips, and weight lifting programs.
Instructional Division - The Instructional Division is for players who
are younger high school players who still need work on the
fundamentals of the game (catching, throwing, scooping). We focus on
improving stick skills and also will have a tournament so that the
players can apply their new skills in a game scenario.
Youth/Middle School Division - For all youth and middle school players
who want to improve and have fun! We focus on the fundamentals to
ensure a positive learning experience.
