Matt McPherson '09 Named A-10 Swimmer of the Week
Matt McPherson '09 has been named the TeamUnify/CollegeSwimming.com men's Atlantic 10 Conference Swimmer of the Week, the organization announced on Tuesday. He is on George Washington University's men's swimming and diving team.

McPherson posted a career-best time in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:01.47) before notching another personal-best in the 200-yard breast (2:14.70) in the meet against William & Mary at the Charles E. Smith Center on Saturday, January 9. The sophomore wrapped his day with a season-best 1:58.78 in the 200-yard individual medley.
