Varsity Boys Basketball Loses Two Tough Games This Week
The Hawks battled hard this week against two tough HVAC opponents. On Tuesday, January 18 they hosted the USN Tigers. Thomas Hicks had 23 points and Sam Bowers dropped 21 points in the 50-48 loss. The team was short handed with sickness within the team. However, they played extremely hard and didn't give up. This team likes to compete no matter who they are playing. On Thursday, January 20 the Hawks traveled to Brentwood Academy. The boys came out and almost played a perfect first half. At the break, the Hawks were down 27-22. In the second half, the team continued to battle, but fatigue set in. Sam Bowers and Thomas Hicks led the team in scoring with 14 points each. The Eagles finished the half strong and won the game 56-37. These boys are getting better each day and with their competitive drive they will be in a lot of games. Go Hawks!

JV Boys Basketball Notch First Win Of The Season
The JV Hawks started the week in winning style against the USN Tigers. They fought off several offensive runs by the Tigers to win 26-21. The Hawks were led in scoring by Camden Haren with 14 points. Sammy Boylan and Mckinley Bradshaw had crucial three-pointers to get the team going offensively. Thomas Rutter and Jackson Lucas also helped pull the team along with several key rebounds.

The JV Hawks were faced with a tough HVAC opponent Thursday night in Brentwood Academy. The scoreboard showed BA winning 37-13, but it didn’t show the effort given by the Harding Hawks.  Thomas Rutter led the team with 4 points. He was accompanied by Will Bickley and Mckinley Bradshaw with 3 points. 

Boys Developmental Basketball - White Wins 26-19 and Improves to 2-0
Harding White comes out with another win over Harding Navy with a score of 26-19. Both teams fought hard and played their hardest. Harding white was lead in scoring By Admei Da Silva With 8 points included two crucial   3 -pointers to stretch the lead. Other scores were Jimmy Murphy with 6 points, Jacob Johnson and Robert Topping with 4 points each, and Mateo Lyn-Cook and Cian Corby with 2 points each. Harding Navy was lead by Carter Billings with 7 points, Garrett Lee with 4 points, and Stewart Clay, Matthew Johnson, Devin Patton, and Nathan Wong with 2 points each. Navy will look to get a win next week and try to get their first win of the season.
