A Message From The School Nurse: December 17, 2020

Good afternoon parents,

I hope that you can all enjoy a happy and healthy winter break with your kids. Although I am looking forward to enjoying the break with my family, there may be times that I should be contacted, and encourage you to do so with two things in mind. The first is that if you have any COVID-19 related questions that come up over break, I ask that you first look over the frequently asked questions document that can be found here. The second is that if during the break, a member of your household tests positive for COVID-19, or if you are informed that your child has been determined to be a close contact, that you please let me know. That way I can try to answer any questions you may have, and determine when your child can return to school. In light of these, please be mindful of how you are spending your time over break in order to minimize the risk to you and your family of possible exposure to COVID-19.

As we wrap up the first half of the school year, I want to thank you for all of the extra effort you have put into keeping our Harding Academy community safe and healthy. I think I can speak for others here as I say that we are thrilled that the school has been able to remain open, despite the challenge that COVID-19 has proven to be. Happy holidays, and I look forward to seeing your kids back on campus on January 4, 2021!
