A Message From The School Nurse: October 4, 2020

Harding Families,

We have made it through another week! Thank you again for your partnership with us as we work to keep our community healthy and on campus. I just have a couple of reminders to share with you.

Masks
As we all know, masks are an important part of preventing the spread of COVID-19. It is for this reason that we are diligent about our mask policy at Harding Academy; making sure that students, faculty, and staff are wearing their masks at all times while on campus, unless they are eating. Masks can only work as well as they fit though, so as a reminder, please make sure that your child's masks fit properly, and that they are comfortable enough that they are not tempted to touch, and adjust them throughout the day. Please review the following link to the CDC regarding how to select, wear and clean your mask:

Colder Weather
In addition to masks, another way we are working to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is by allowing the students to be outside as much as possible. The teachers have been doing a wonderful job taking them outside whenever they are able, and we would like to be able to keep this up even as the weather starts to get cooler, so please remember to send your child to school with the appropriate attire.
