From the Desk of the Head of School- May 17, 2019

Dear Parents,

I often times say, one of the best parts of my job is that it is never boring.  This morning I was in Kever Park cheering on the students as they participated in a wide variety of games for Field Day as teachers, coaches and parent volunteers ensured it was a winning day for everyone! Last night, I was able to thank the incredible Harding Parents Association for a tremendously successful year of community building and fundraising. Once again, I find myself grateful that our parent community is so willing to give of their time and energy to ensure each student at Harding is provided the very best experience we can possibly provide.

The HPA Executive Committee recently voted to support the school with a gift to our STEM program through the upgrade of our 3D printers and the purchase of two new interactive TVs. New 3D printers allows us to stay on the cutting edge of technology, while the interactive TVs will continue to facilitate innovative instruction in the classroom.  This gift means we can further enhance our design classes as we grow them into the 7th and 8th grade under the capable guidance of our Technology Integration Specialist, Andrew Ballow.

From the exciting games of Field Day, to the front line of STEM technology in education, our parents are truly supporting the whole child education for which Harding has long been known. So I guess the old adage is true, it takes a village.  Our village encompasses a phenomenal group of students, teachers, families, staff and coaches. As we come to the close of another school year, I find myself full of gratitude for each and everyone one of you.
