From the Desk of the Head of School- March 1, 2019

Dear Parents,

Over the next week, we will celebrate the choices our eighth graders will make as to where they will spend their high school years. We will also welcome a number of new students into the Harding family when they learn of their acceptances. Perhaps the most fulfilling part of working at a PreK-8 school is simultaneously celebrating students who have grown up with us and are ready to take on the next challenge, and welcoming new, eager, and excited students and families who are just realizing the journey ahead of them.

It is fitting this cycle kicks off at the beginning of March. Despite the deluge of February, it is beginning to feel more Spring-like outside and we are now only three months away from graduation. After Spring Break at the end of this month, the celebration of the 2018-19 school year begins with our 8th grade brick reveal ceremony, band and chorus concerts, awards assemblies, Art Show and beyond. It is an exciting time in the Harding Academy school calendar and made all the better by welcoming new families to our school and relishing in the growth and success of our 8th graders.
