Harding Academy is now in its seventh year of hosting the summer program Time to Rise. Time to Rise is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping at-risk third to sixth graders to bridge academic learning through the summer in order to best enable each student to reach their full potential. The program runs through the entire month of June.
Time to Rise at Harding currently hosts rising third, fourth, and fifth graders from five public schools across Nashville. Harding Academy is the only site that is dedicated to the Hispanic population and has an average enrollment of fifty to fifty-five students. It is the largest of the four sites that include Ensworth, Montgomery Bell Academy, and Harpeth Hall. In order to make this year another huge success we are asking for your help!
The Harding community has been vital in the success of this program as alumni have been counselors, school supplies have been donated and meals have been covered for our students. During the week of April 16 through April 20 we will be hosting a supply drive so that the students coming to us in June have all of the resources we have every day at Harding. To make this SUPER easy, we have allocated each grade to provide specific supplies. Click HERE to see what goodies your grade can provide! Mrs. Pylkas will be in the hookup line to accept all deliveries!
