Varsity Girls Basketball Loses To Pope Prep The Hawks hosted Pope Prep on Tuesday, January 30. It was a very competitive conference game from the start. The girls took a 17-15 lead into the half. The Knights came out strong and outscored the Hawks 11-1 in the 3rd quarter. The home team fought back in the 4th. However, it was too much to overcome. The final score was 33-28 in favor of Pope Prep. Margie Clark and Margaux Brown led the Hawks in scoring with 7 points each. HilaryFremont had 6 points and 2 assists in the 4th quarter.
MTHSSA Championship Swim Meet Five Harding swimmers; Mina Sanford, Ben Drake, Jack Keally, Eliza Gray Neal, Keaton Reavis and one diver, Asher Fremont showed up to compete. Mina Sanford place FIRST in the 100 fly (58.89) and second in the 200 IM. Ben Drake place 10th in the 200 free (dropping 7 seconds) and 14th in the 100 free. Eliza GrayNeal placed 13th in the 200 IM (dropping 8 seconds). Jack Keally and Keaton Reavis both raced with a fierce drive and both earned best times in their events. Our lone diver, Asher Fremont, held his own! He placed second overall as a 5th grader! That is incredible. These swimmers rocked it!
