From the Desk of the Head of School- April 16, 2021
If you can believe it, we have about a month and a half left of school. Last week I discussed how the weather has brought us opportunities to share in the wonders of being outside in our learning and this week was yet another example of that. Next week we look forward to baseball and lacrosse games, ongoing preparations for The Little Mermaid in Kever Park, and community engagement opportunities at Radnor Lake and Green Door Gourmet.
Next week is also an opportunity, through our Insight Series, to hear from Remington Holt in a conversation about diversity, equity, and inclusion. Since the spring of 2018, Remington has partnered with Harding to further our community culture to ensure it is one that is inclusive, created through an equity lens that allows for diversity to flourish and thrive. We have created opportunities for our lower school parents and our middle school parents to join him on April 23 and May 7 respectively. Lower school parents can register HERE and middle school parents can register HERE.
We are almost there and I would echo Moira Clark’s email from the beginning of this week to please keep your guard up as we look to finish the 2020-21 school year strong. Have a safe and healthy weekend!
